2024 - M.A. Student Affairs in Higher Education 

Samantha has served as the Graduate Assistant for UCCSlead and the Chancellor's Leadership Class since June 2022.

Originally from North Carolina, Samantha moved to Colorado in the fall of 2021 while finishing her undergraduate degree a semester early from East Carolina University. Samantha is currently in her master's program at UCCS, studying Student Affairs in Higher Education and plans to graduate May 2024. 

During her time working for UCCSlead and the Chancellor's Leadership Class, Samantha has been an active member on different planning committees, such as MLK Days of Service & Action, has planned two conferences--one on Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and the other on Emerging Trends in Leadership--has coordinated multiple campus-wide Day of Service events, hosted a multitude of leadership workshops, and so much more.

Once graduated, Samantha plans to move back to North Carolina to pursue a career in higher education.
